Wallflowers Need Not Apply

Mar 20, 2012

On her website, in what must be the understatement of the decade, Colombian-born illustrator Catalina Estrada states, “I love colors and shapes and if I have a choice I want to make them beautiful.” One look at her new wallpaper collection for Coordoné, which blends the color and intensity of Latin-American folklore with European technical refinement, and we were bowled over by her adventurous with a capital A sense of design. (We’re not the only ones who are smitten: blogs like decor8 to sfgirlbybay are going gaga.) We can picture these in any room that needs a character boost, but think they’re especially fab for kitchens, home offices, and dining rooms.
